DESCRIPTION:“Call On Me Foundation is calling all veterans and non-veterans to join us for a day out on a private fishing charter. Come out for a morning on the water catching fish and supporting a good cause. The Call On Me foundation’s goal of raising money for families of veterans who have lost their lives unexpectedly is a non stop effort to help as many families as possible. Know that your donation to the foundation is going to help a family who needs it.” \n*All donations must be made on the Foundation’s website: callonmefoundation please write in the donation message area “Fishing trip”. \nWhat’s included in your donation? 4 hours of fishing on a private fishing charter. Rod and reel rentals along with bait. There will be beer and soft drinks with a free Call On Me Foundation koozie. For those not interested in fishing there is a large second “Sun Deck” for lounging. Any donation over $500 will receive a swag bag from the Call On Me Foundation. \nDon’t forget to bring sunscreen\, hats\, comfortable shoes you don’t mind getting wet\, your own fishing rod if you’d like\, and snacks. SUMMARY:Project "Gilly" Suit
DESCRIPTION:In our journey to help the families of veterans who have lost a parent or spouse\, we found ourselves met with a cause that hit close to home for all of us at the Foundation. A friend and fellow Marine named Gregory Gilliam lost his life unexpectedly in December\, 2022. Every member of the Call On Me Foundation served with him while Marines in a Marine Squadron\, VMFA-122. His wife Leslie\, also a fellow Marine veteran\, served alongside all members of this Foundation as well. She and her son will be the recipients of our first donation cause. 100% of proceeds donated will go directly to Leslie to help her and her family in their time of need.
