THE CALL ON ME FOUNDATION

The Call On Me Foundation was founded by 5 Marine Corps Veterans who decided to continue their service by serving others. Our mission is to provide immediate financial support to the families of Veterans who have passed away unexpectedly and to honor those who chose to answer the call.

When a Veteran dies—especially by suicide—their loss ripples far beyond their immediate family. It affects entire communities: neighbors, coworkers, schools, churches, and the very fabric of the society they served to protect. The Call On Me Foundation, Inc. steps in during this critical time to provide immediate financial support to the families left behind, helping them find stability and begin healing.

Here’s how your contribution makes a difference:

You help prevent further trauma. Financial stress after a tragic loss can lead to housing insecurity, disrupted education, and worsening mental health for surviving spouses and children. Your support helps keep families afloat, giving them space to grieve and recover without fear of losing everything.
You preserve community stability. Veteran families are deeply embedded in our neighborhoods. When they are supported, they can stay connected to their communities—continuing to contribute, grow, and thrive.
You invest in future generations. Children who lose a parent to suicide are at greater risk of mental health challenges themselves. By helping their family through those first critical months, your gift helps protect their emotional and psychological well-being.

During the weeks afterwards when even functioning is difficult, The Call on Me Foundation reached out to assist myself and our daughters. Nick and James have lived through the experience of losing people you love dearly so their compassion and care greatly helped us in our time of need. Their communication and dedication to raising funds for us to travel to the United States from Australia for my husband’s burial helped is greatly appreciated as we were able to travel without added financial stress. After the passing of my husband, Matthew, I found myself facing one of the most difficult times of my life. The emotional pain of losing him was overwhelming, and along with that came many unexpected financial burdens. During this incredibly hard season, the Call On Me Foundation stepped in and provided me with a monetary donation. Their generosity and kindness meant more to me than words can fully express. I never imagined I would be in a position to write something like this. Losing Dylan has shattered our world in ways I can’t even begin to explain.
